How do you create your hoops?

All hoops are designed and stitched by me! I get inspiration from everywhere- movies, TV shows, pop culture, etc. All hoops start as a design, which I draw digitally on Procreate. That design is then transferred to the fabric using an erasable marker. I use embroidery floss and special embroidery needles to hand-stitch the design. Depending on the size or complexity of the piece, hoops can take anywhere from 2-12 hours to complete! 

How can I display my hoop?

You can display an embroidery hoop just like you would any piece of art! The screw on the top of the hoop makes it easy to hang on a 3M hook or nail from your wall, or from a push pin in a cork board. You can also display hoops on a shelf by purchasing a frame stand (found at any craft store) or simply by leaning it against a book or something else!

What comes with a pattern?

Each pattern is different, but most come with the Outline, which you can use to trace the design onto your fabric, and a DMC Color Guide. DMC is a brand of embroidery floss carried at most craft stores. Each color has a number, so you can use the Color Guide to pick the exact colors of the pattern (but feel free to change up the colors to anything you chose!). More complex patterns also come with a Stitch Guide, which will tell you which type of stitch to use for each part of the design.

How do I download the pattern after I purchase?

Immediately after your order is placed, you will be able to download your PDF directly from the order confirmation page. You will also be sent an email with the subject "Your download is ready!", which has the link to the PDF. If you are unable to access or download your pattern after purchase, please reach out to me at nicole@wishesandstitchesco.com or send me a message.

Where can I go if I need help with my pattern?

When I was first starting, I learned everything from YouTube! There are great tutorials for any kind of stitch! I am also always available to help if you get stuck on anything! You can send me a message, or DM me on Instagram.

Can I sell a hoop I made from your pattern?

I love being able to share my designs with you, but I kindly ask that you do not sell recreations of my patterns, or the finished product. 

Custom Orders

How can I place a custom order?

Currently, you can request a custom order on Etsy (wishesandstitchesco.etsy.com).

Through Etsy, click Contact and send me a message with the information about what you would like. I will reply to your message with a sketch of the design, the price, and a timeline estimate. After we have agreed, I will send you a custom listing to purchase.

What is the process after my custom order is placed?

Once you let me know what you are looking for, I will create a digital sketch of what the hoop will look like. Obviously I cannot show all the detail of the stitches in a digital drawing, but it should give you a good idea. Once we have agreed and you have paid, I will start work on your custom piece. I will message you when I am finished to get your final approval before shipping it to you.

How long does it take?

Processing times for custom orders vary, but they usually take about 2 weeks. Depending on the complexity of the design, the number of custom orders I have, and my schedule, that time may vary. I will be able to give you a good timeline estimate at the time you place your order.
